林書豪昨在第4節獨拿12分，全場16投10中攻下全場最高29分，外加5籃板和5助攻，率領湖人101比87擊退來犯的76人，中止球隊4連敗。他是繼渥錫與「魔術」強森之後，湖人隊史1985-86球季之後第3個能以替補身分單場攻下29分以上的球員。
這是林書豪加盟湖人以來的最高得分，也是自前年11月14日(火箭)以後單場最高得分，巧合的是對手同樣是76人，林書豪先發上陣，19投10中得到34分、5籃板、11助攻，不過當時火箭在客場以6分之差敗陣。
林書豪上半場貢獻8分，第三節火力逐漸加溫攻下9分，幫助湖人將落後分數縮小至1分，決勝節，湖人發動18比4攻勢，林書豪砍進12分，成功逆轉戰局，還取得94比79絕對領先，林書豪可說是湖人止敗最大功臣。
總教練史考特賽後讚揚林書豪打得很棒，他會在林書豪奪下球季新高之後讓林重返先發嗎？豪小子賽後面對何時回到先發陣容問題時則表示，「例行賽已打了快70場，我努力專注在球場上，然後做好自己應有本分，至於先發與否不是我能決定的，但，我還是希望先發出賽啦！」
林書豪稱讚隊友艾德戴維斯（8分、11籃板、4阻攻），「我認為艾德在保護籃板方面非出色，同時也打出他個人好表現，在攻防數據上他是單場最佳球員。」
76人總教練布瑞特布朗則搖頭表示，我們在比賽剩下7分鐘多的時候開始包夾林書豪，試圖阻擋他的前進路線，沒想到他還是能找到得分方式。
